✅ Verse 10 Exercise Strength During Adversity
The Covid-19 season has exposed the frailty of life at personal, institutional, and governmental levels. We have experienced the “day of adversity.” Yet those who exercise strength will flourish. However, there is a curious admonition that if you fail in seasons of adversity, your strength is small.
✳️ What does it mean to have small strength? Does it imply that you can multiply your strength?

✅ Verses 17-18 The right Attitude Towards Your Enemies
We live in an age where scripture has been used to make us masters at profiling "haters and enemies" and how to pray for and against them😇. And when bad things happen to them we rejoice. But the bible is clear – do not rejoice when your enemy falls or stumbles. God is displeased with hearts that rejoice over the stumbling and falling of enemies. 🤔 Wow…..

Thank you Pastor for this insight. I think strength can be multiplied and one can make themselves stronger spiritually by exercising in God's gym. By reading and regurgitate on it...like a cow chewing cud...meditate on it so that for example when we find ourselves in such a pandemic we are not being carried by emotions or overwhelmed by the reports in the news but being firm in God's Word.As I read Proverbs 24 and made a note of V 17 I asked myself should I have enemies in the 1st place? 😆 Obed Pastor: Amen.. Indeed strength can multiplied

The mandate for the Christ conforming follower is to live them. The prophets had declared that one among them would betray Him.... The son of perdition. 🙏
After fasting and praying, the Father pointing the son of perdition to be chosen as part of the founding 12.. Christ was fully aware of His enemy before and even appointed him to be his disciple .. 🙏

V. 3. Using Wisdom and understanding to build establish my home. As I pondered on this one I thought about the many family disputes I've handled in my line of work. And I realized that most of us build our homes on egos and primarily what we saw being done in our homes. This is a recipe for disaster and that's why we need godly skilful wisdom so that members of a family know what position to hold in building their homes.
V.7 Fools can't take in wisdom...and don't they say if you argue with a fool no one sees the difference?
V13. I love the analogy given of honey. For me I deduce it to show that when I start getting wisdom it becomes sweet that I really desire for more.
Obed Pastor: Amen. Humanism and cultural referencing makes us miss the wisdom of God, moreso, at the family front. God help us to build our marriages and families through wisdom.
Ciruu Kiniti: Allow me to testify. We've just had a dispute within our Court. And since I know one of the family involved I decided to step in. As I was going I made a very short prayer and asked God to grant me Wisdom. This wisdom that I've been reading in Proverbs. Long story short: a case that had been escalated mpaka baba wa nyumba akaitwa kutoka job imeisha within 15 minutes. God gave me words and wisdom to talk. Even what was to be paid for wamesema it is well hawataki ilipwe. God is Wisdom Himself.

Joyce obed: I like the way Ciiru has shared about God's gym... I have come to realize, that we can be so obsessed with how we look physically including running to the gym to improve our physical appearances...Truly we need to apply the same effort or me for our spiritual bodies.
